for beginning students
This printable resource includes the seven letters of the musical alphabet (A, B, C, D, E, F, G). Print as many sets as you'd like to use in private lessons or group classes.
A few ideas:
Scramble multiple sets of musical alphabet cards and have students put cards in order (e.g. A, B, C). Challenge: Have students put cards in reverse order (e.g. G, F, E)
Arrange cards in order with only the first letter facing up. Have students name the next letter correctly before turning the card over. Challenge: Start the alphabet on different letters (e.g. F, G, A).
Have students skip a letter/card and name notes using skips/3rds (e.g. A, up a skip, C, up a skip, E). Challenge: Recite the musical alphabet backward using skips (e.g. G, down a skip, E, down a skip, C).
Download the files to your computer.
Print on white (or colored) cardstock and cut into quarters.
