Still, Still, Still

A 3-minute arrangement of this traditional Christmas carol written for 3-octave handbells (12 bells) + opt. 4 handchimes

Still, Still, Still

This reflective arrangement of a beloved Christmas favorite is perfect for a candlelight Christmas Eve service.

The piece begins with a simple open fifth, gradually growing out of nothing using the singing bell technique. The singing bells underscore much of the arrangement, with the addition of handchimes partway through. The piece ends as simply and quietly as it began – with the singing bells fading away to nothing.

Written for 12 bells + opt. 4 handchimes, this piece is accessible for smaller ensembles of 6 ringers.
